What is 14k Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of solid 14k gold mechanically bonded to a base metal core (minimum 5% total gold weight). It contains up to 100x more real gold than standard gold plating, ensuring a durable, tarnish-resistant finish that will not chip or peel.
